If you are a US citizen/resident and you are planning to apply for a student loan, you must submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The FAFSA is located on-line and can be accessed at .

Deferred Payment Plans: Students may subscribe to the deferred payment plan that provides for five equal payments of tuition for the fall and spring semesters. A deferred payment fee is added to the student鈥檚 account payable at the time of registration for the deferred payment plan.

All degree program applicants will be automatically considered for a graduate scholarship. No separate application is required. While the entire application portfolio is considered, a minimum 3.75 cumulative GPA is required for optimal consideration and other program restrictions apply. If an applicant is eligible, the scholarship is only awarded at the time of admission and the student must maintain a 3.0 GPA and enroll in a minimum of six credits each semester to maintain the award.

For most programs, all of the requirements for graduate degrees must be completed within six (6) years of the date of first registration in graduate course work. Students in the MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and the Ed.S. in School Psychology programs must complete their requirements in ten (10) years. Students in the MA in Counseling Services program must complete their requirements in eight (8) years. Please contact your academic advisor if you have questions about degree requirements.
A full-time program consists of nine (9) or more semester hours of graduate course work. Part-time is less than nine. Students who are using federal financial aid to finance their academic work must be enrolled in a minimum of six credits each semester. The two summer terms combined count as one semester. semester hours recommended.
A limited number of transfer credits may be accepted depending on the applicant's program of study and is subject to the approval of the program director. The initial teacher certification programs do not accept transfer credits.
With the exception of dual degree programs, applicants are limited to selecting one academic program.
Requests to audit a graduate-level class are considered on a case-by-case basis. Students approved to audit classes may register during the first week of classes on a space-available basis. Certain classes do not allow non-matriculated or auditing students. Information about cost and fees can be found by visiting our tuition and aid page.
