All rooms come equipped with:

• A bed, extra-long (80 inches) mattress, dresser, wardrobe, desk, and chair for each resident.
• Tile flooring and Venetian blinds on windows.
• Average room carpet size: 10’ x 12’. (Lincoln Hall carpet measurements vary; call the Residence Life Office if you are assigned there.)
• Standard windows: 63” long x 94” wide; Lincoln windows: 63” long x 36” wide.

National Student Services, Inc. (NSSI)

NSSI provides comprehensive personal property coverage designed for college students. This plan offers protection against fire, water damage, theft, and other losses. If your homeowner's insurance does not extend to your belongings, contact NSSI or your insurance carrier to explore additional property insurance options. .

• Prohibited Substances & Materials: Alcohol/drug paraphernalia (including decorative items like shot glasses/bottles), Highly combustible or explosive materials
• Prohibited Cleaning & Laundry Items: Laundry detergent pods (use liquid/powder only), Coins for laundry (facilities are free)
• Prohibited Kitchen Items: Anything with exposed heating surfaces (e.g., hot plates, toaster ovens)

Please note, the University does not have storage facilities for trunks and suitcases, but many students find they make great coffee tables and clothing storage in their rooms.
