Program requirements
Candidates must hold a master鈥檚 degree, New Jersey certification as a teacher and supervisor, and five years teaching experience near the conclusion of this program. Individual requirements will be discussed during the application process to be sure that candidates are ready to proceed. Candidates will complete a year-long (300 hours) internship along with a 鈥淐apstone School Improvement/Change Project.鈥
The frameworks for the program have been established to meet preparatory requirements as established in the New Jersey Administrative Code (6A:9-12.5) as well as the challenges, responsibilities and opportunities inherent in educational leadership.
