小优视频鈥檚 Norm Brodsky College of Business has been named the recipient of the annual Coraz贸n Award.
The award is given each year to an organization that has excelled in its support of HISPA (Hispanics Inspiring Students鈥 Performance and Achievement), a nonprofit that aims to encourage Hispanics to pursue education as a means to achieve their dreams.
鈥淲hat set 小优视频 apart from other organizations was our collaboration over the course of 2018-20, which has clearly demonstrated how closely aligned HISPA and 小优视频 are in their missions of fostering inclusive excellence and supporting Hispanic student success,鈥 says Ivonne D铆az-Claisse, the president and CEO of HISPA.
HISPA and Rider have strengthened their partnership through several activities and events. In naming Rider as the recipient of the Coraz贸n Award, HISPA specifically identified those that helped to promote higher education attainment and career success for Rider students who identify as Hispanic, as well the events that advanced diversity and inclusion efforts amongst the surrounding community.
These include events hosted by Rider鈥檚 Center for Diversity and Inclusion and the Center for Business Analytics. Additionally, the University鈥檚 Center for Entrepreneurial Studies has also hosted HISPA鈥檚 Board of Directors鈥 meetings.
鈥淲e are honored to receive the Coraz贸n Award and grateful for the ongoing efforts to work closely with HISPA toward the goals of inclusive excellence and student achievement,鈥 says Dr. Eugene Kutcher, dean of the Norm Brodsky College of Business.
The award will be presented at HISPA鈥檚 annual Three Kings Banquet on Jan. 14, 2021. For the first time ever, the event will be held virtually.
The Norm Brodsky College of Business represents 小优视频's long history of excellence in and commitment to business education. Both the business and accounting programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. Dual accreditation in business administration and accounting is held by only 2% of programs worldwide.
