Overall, 747 schools earned a designation through annual survey

小优视频 was ranked the ninth most military-friendly school in an annual ranking of 1,200 institutions by VIQTORY, an organization that helps connect the military community to civilian employment and other educational and entrepreneurial opportunities. Overall, 747 schools earned a designation.
鈥淲e鈥檙e honored to receive such a high ranking, which reflects Rider鈥檚 longstanding commitment to supporting veterans, and all military connected students,鈥 says Thomas Reddington of Rider's Veterans and Military Affairs Office.
Rider鈥檚 long and proud tradition of serving military veterans dates back to its founding in 1865, when some of its first students included Civil War veterans seeking job skills. Today, Rider is an active participant in several military community programs including the Yellow Ribbon Program, which allows qualified military men and women the opportunity to attend college at a private institution through enhanced tuition benefits and supplemental scholarships and grants provided by participating colleges and universities.
鈥淪chools that achieve designation show true commitment and dedication in their efforts,鈥 says Kayla Lopez, the national director of military partnerships for Military Friendly鈥. 鈥淥ur standards assist schools by providing a benchmark that promotes positive educational outcomes, resource, and support services that better the educational landscape and provide opportunity for the military community.鈥
Institutions earning the Military Friendly鈥 鈥婼chool designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey. The 2021-鈥22 Military Friendly Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine and can be found at鈥 .
