С����Ƶ jumped 11 spots on this year’s U.S. News & World Report’s list of best regional universities in the North. Rider is now ranked No. 27, improving from No. 38 on last year’s list. 

The improvement is only one of several bright spots for Rider on the 2022 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Colleges list. The Broncs placed at No. 28 for "Best Value Schools" for regional universities and No. 107 for "Top Performers on Social Mobility," for regional universities. The ranking as a top performer on social mobility reflects the University's strength at helping economically disadvantaged students finish college. To identify colleges with the best value, U.S. News considers academic quality in combination with cost of attendance. Strong rankings reflect institutions with high qualities and lower cost. 

Rider also made the national list for "Best Undergraduate Business Programs." U.S. News noted improvement on Rider’s first-year retention numbers and graduation rates, and the University also earned recognition for having a higher percentage of first-year students who graduated in the top 25% of their high school class.

Rider is regularly ranked highly by the most prestigious publications for academic excellence. Earlier this month, Rider was named one of 387 best colleges and a best northeastern college by The Princeton Review. 

Now in its 37th year, the U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges assessed 1,466 U.S. bachelor's degree-granting institutions on 17 measures of academic quality to create its rankings.
