Carol Comune鈥檚 technical precision and lyricism have earned her a reputation as one of today鈥檚 premiere pianists performing extensively throughout the eastern United States both as a soloist and a chamber musician. She has been a featured artist in Boston 鈥 New England Conservatory of Music, Gardner Museum, Art Complex at Duxbury, and Longfellow National Historic Site; in New York City 鈥 Lincoln Center and Steinway Hall; in Palm Beach 鈥 Flagler Museum and Kravis Center; and her recitals have been featured on National Public Radio (NPR). Ms. Comune is an active accompanist for voice and instrumentalists in New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania.
A multi-talented musician, teacher, composer and recording artist, Ms. Comune also has a company, Elegant Entertainment & Co. (BMI). Founded in 1985, it has produced eight albums ranging from original compositions to classical. Her critically acclaimed albums are featured on NPR and U.S. commercial stations, and on broadcasting stations in the Far East, Canada and Europe.

Ms. Comune is a faculty member at Westminster Conservatory of Music working with the Young Artist Program, as a Chamber Coach and with performance classes, private piano instruction, and as an accompanist. She is a frequent judicator for MTNA/NJ and original compositions competitions in Palm Beach County/FSMTA.
Comune received a B.M. in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory, studying piano with David Hagan and Anthony di Bonaventure. Her graduate studies in piano pedagogy included work with Jean Stackhouse; composition with Donald Waxman; and master classes with Russell Sherman. She has maintained active private studios since 1973 in Boston, Palm Beach and the Lehigh Valley. She served as former faculty in piano, accompanist, and chamber with NEC Prep School, Berklee College of Music and Palm Beach Atlantic University. Comune is MTNA-NEPTA and a Steinway Artist.
